The road crews are teams of dedicated men and women who take very seriously their mission of "Working for the People." Ask them, and they'll speak with pride about their role in keeping roads clear for schools buses. They are sincere about insuring access to the homes of elders who may need emergency services during a declared state of emergency in Apache County. For them, it's not just moving dirt, mud and snow with heavy equipment; for them, its impacting and protecting the lives of people.

CURRENT PROJECTS:
District II acquired asphalt millings from ADOT that is being applied to county roads in District II. The millings are loaded at I-40, South of Chambers Post Office, and are hauled by the truck drivers to county roads. After the material is unloaded, road maintenance workers use heavy equipment to spread, level and compact the millings.
